Your Feedback Matters
NM Psychology welcomes compliments, suggestions, concerns and complaints.
Feedback helps us improve our services and continue providing respectful, safe and professional psychological care.
How to Provide Feedback
You can provide feedback by:
- Speaking directly with your psychologist, where you feel comfortable doing so.
- Calling or emailing NM Psychology
- Completing the feedback form
- Asking a support person or representative to contact us
Feedback may be submitted anonymously, although this may limit our ability to investigate or respond. You may also have a support person assist you throughout the complaints process.

Making a Complaint
Please include:
- A brief description of the concern
- Relevant dates or appointments
- The people involved
- Any steps already taken
- The outcome you are seeking
Only include information relevant to the matter.
What Happens Next?
NM Psychology will:
- Acknowledge the complaint
- Review the information provided
- Contact you if further details are required
- Acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and provide an outcome or progress update within 30 calendar days, where possible.
- Discuss an appropriate resolution where possible
Raising a complaint will not negatively affect your access to services, the quality of your care or the way you are treated by NM Psychology.
Privacy
Feedback and complaints will be handled confidentially and in accordance with the NM Psychology Privacy Policy.
Information will only be shared with people who need it to review or investigate the matter, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
External Complaint Options
You may contact an independent complaints body at any time.

The Commissioner handles complaints about health services and health information in Victoria.

Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Concerns about the conduct, health or performance of a registered psychologist may be submitted to Ahpra through its online concern form.
You do not need permission from NM Psychology to contact either organisation.
